The food are well presented in small portion. The server described and explained the ingredients. But that’s about it. It is more like putting expensive ingredients together to justify for the price tag. Really nothing to rave about.
For the price it is definitely over hyped and not worth the price tag of $580 for 2 pax for the Ume menu. The ice green tea is not even cold and super diluted. Definitely not worth the $15.
This is a birthday celebration and the server presented a small bunch of dry flowers to the birthday BOY. Maybe don’t give better.
The waitress and waiters are also more student part timers than professional who can’t hold good conversations with customers or greet customers properly.
Keep ur money. Spend elsewhere. Otherwise you feel like a Robert carrot here.
It is definitely a “memorable” celebration which we will remember forever.
We had an absolutely incredible dinner with stellar service and a relaxing, calm atmosphere here. In particular, the octopus was absolutely delicious. Perfectly cooked and beautifully seasoned. I highly recommend adding the alcohol pairing with the dinner. The orchid gin cocktail was particularly wonderful. We had a nice conversation with the staff (I apologize for not getting the female server's name, who was very friendly and knowledgeable) and Joshua. We will definitely return!
Grossly over-hyped place! The food and drinks pairing didn't live up to our expectations. It felt like we were paying premium for the chefs to play masak-masak. The presentation of food was good, but the food was major disappointment. The bill came up to ~950 for 3 pax, with this amount you can have better food elsewhere.
Because of the good service, I'm giving it a rating of 2 stars. If not, it would have been a zero star review.
Amazing experience and great ambience! Second time back here for their summer menu this time round and the whole experience was still as good as the first. Joshua, who served us that day, was very well versed and helpful which made our dining experience a remarkable one. Will definitely be back in the future!
INCREDIBLE FOOD, drinks and service! Husband and I absolutely adored the super friendly staff 🥹 we were here for my husband’s birthday and our time there really exceeded expectations! …
Bringing my sister to her first Kaiseki experience. I had the $48 lunch, she had the $88 lunch. We were hungry and finished within 45 min 🤣 …
It was a pleasant and relaxed kaiseki lunch with my Japanese friend. They followed the authentic Japanese kaiseki framework, but their menu is so creative! Including the freshness of the ingredients, harmony of the menus, and their serving …
Keep up the good work! Kudos to Joshua for making our dining experience so cheerful, effortless and funny. We were laughing the whole time while enjoying delicious and beautifully plated food with perfectly curated cocktails.
